| | The next part of our journey takes us south east to the industrial city of Inowroclaw, where we turn west and head along the combined mainline from the far north east towards Poznan which lies on the main Warsaw to Berlin Railway. Our train is PKP InterCity TLK56102 and the time is 07.35. With six minutes recovery time at Bydgoszcz we are more or less on schedule. We have had a change of locomotives – we are now travelling with EP07 1009, EP07 1016 is still with us but 1009 will lead. Most of the line Inowroclaw – Poznan has already been rebuilt for 160kph running – 200kph with ERTMS signalling. However there is relatively little traction or coaches cleared for 160kph, let alone 200! Our EP07 is restricted to 125kph, though some have been rebuilt for 140kph. The cloud over Bydgoszcz rapidly disperses and we have pleasant weather all the to the very busy rail centre of Poznan | | Tag cloud: cabride bydgoszcz poznan inowroclaw poznan warsaw berlin tlk56102 schedule ep07 cloud weather | Tell a friend about this publication |
