| | 55022: The Third Age Restarted begins where our first Royal Scots Grey DVD left off - with the Big Bang on the 'Autumn Highlander' in October 2006. What happened next was extraordinary, even by this loco's standards - the fitting of a replacement power unit once used in a naval patrol boat! After nine months of modifications and set-backs, the locomotive was finally running on two engines again. One year after the Doncaster blow-out, 22 returned to the main line. This is the story of that challenging time, liberally spiced with footage of the charters worked on naval power, and later, when 22 received a donor unit from reunited stablemate 55016. The story concludes, for the time being, with RSG's 50th birthday celebration at the end of February 2011 and extensive footage of the anniversary railtour from King's Cross to Edinburgh Waverley and back five days later.
