Today, only the Bangor line remains open but many people have fond memories of the old BCDR and are eagerly awaiting this book. Its author, Des Coakham, knew the BCDR personally and is the acknowledged expert on the subject. His book will become the definitive history of the line and is packed with interesting detail about the line, its personalities and its long history.
