But we will be using the train for the one hour run to the Czech border station at Breclav. Traction is a dual system class 1014- a modern machine with a wonderful large windscreen! The locomotive will be changed at the border, as it does not have the 3,000 v DC equipment to run in Poland. The run is over the Nordbahn, the principle route for freight between the former East and southern Europe, including that from the FIAT factory at Tychy.
