| | This is a re-mastered recording originally issued in 1990 on video tape. It starts with B.R. Steam trains in the 1960's. the last train from Furzebrook sidings, Then the B.R. DEMU trains just before closure in 1969. Then the narrow gauge clay mine railway still running nearby, After which the early days of the preservation movement, in 1987, are seen ;- the B4 (From the Bluebell). 8F 45160, fresh from Turkey, Pannier 7752, Austerity “Whiston”, G.W.R. 0-6-2, 5619. B.R. 46443. The Hunslet “Cunarder”, and two “Jinties” The preserved D.E.M.U “Thumper” worked on the line, and Battle of Britain “257 Squadron” is launched. At the time Corfe Castle station had not been reached. The Trains ran to “New Barn” then the opening ceremony of Harmans Cross is celebrated. At Corfe Castle preparations are in hand and bridges are rebuilt. Then a general study of operations and trains is featured. AN update filmed in 1993 shows a splendidly restored M7 in action. Further Filming in 20-08 shows the train service now runs to Corfe Castle and beyond to a “Park-And-Ride” station at Norden. A pair of Standard class 4's operate trains and include “Driver Experience” days, Nearby at Norden is a newly created exchange station for the Old Clay mine industry.
