| Now offered at 20% off for Summer period. Welcome to Austria. Today we are travelling from Rosenbach, on the Slovenian border near Jesenice, to Villach the second largest city in Carinthia. Here we join EC114 “Worthersee”- Klagenfurt to Dortmund, for our run over the Tauernbahn to Bad Gastein, our first stop north of the Tauern tunnel. The traffic is international - at one point we overtake an Italian E412 with an international wagon-load train that is taking advantage of the OBB's bi-directional signalling. TTR116 continues north to Salzburg. The Tauernbahn is spectacular and we enjoy beautiful sunny weather. |
