The swansong of the golden age of the ocean-going passenger liner was from the mid-1950s to the late 1960s. Famous liners like the 'Queen Mary', 'Queen Elizabeth', 'United States' and 'France' still traversed the Atlantic, while others plied equally important routes to Asia and Australia. Previously unpublished, some 85 superb colour images portray a mixture of the well-known and the long forgotten.
