This was filmed in July of last year shortly before the service finished. 'Top & Tail' Class 73s were the motive power for the train. Since then, not only have all TPO services been withdrawn but so too have all the EWS Class 73s. Also of interest is that the journey was filmed prior to the opening of the CTRL link and also at a time when there was still plenty of slam-door stock in evidence.
