| | The Clogher Valley Railway served the people of the Valley faithfully for over half a century, providing a means to access wider markets and reach far-flung places. Limited in speed by being a roadside tramway, its demise was a foregone conclusion in an era of modern transport yet the line is still fondly remembered by the people of the valley and much further afield. This new updated edition of Dr Patterson's 1972 book, with additional material by local railway historian Norman Johnston; provides an opportunity to retell the story using new information and 135 black and white photographs. A useful addition to the first edition is a description of what remains of the railway in 2004. Contents:
