| The National is always held on Easter Sunday and Bourn in Cambridgeshire was the chosen venue for the 21st Century's first National Vintage Tractor Road Run. April 200 was the wettest since records began and most of the off-road sections had to be cancelled. Fortunately Bourn airfield had been chosen for the start and Finnish so plenty of hard standing was available. The lack of off-road sections was more than compensated for by the fact that over 400 tractors assembled for the 37 mile run, giving one of the best variety of entrants to be captured on video in the 10 years that we have been recording the National. Among the rarer entrants were a Doe Triple D, a Fleetline Oliver 99 Super, a Trantor, A Power Major Tricycle, a Roadless Ploughmaster and a Newman AN3 to name but a few. Ferguson, Ford, Allis, David Brown, Fendt, Fordson, Case, International, John Deere, Massey Harris, Nuffield, Oliver, Kubota, Field Marshell, S.F. Vierzon, Garner and BMC are all Represented.
