| | The recent Prestige Series book on the Tyne-Tees-Mersey limited stop pool services which served Tyneside, Tees-side and Merseyside has proved very popular and further titles of this nature have been requested. Associated Motorways was to the west of England what the Tyne-Tees-Mersey was to the north-east and north-west. The face' of the operation was the splendid fleet of Black and White Motorways but there was a good deal more to it. Author Keith Healey (one half of the team that produced the Tyne-Tees-Mersey book) turns his attention to the history of Associated Motorways with a detailed highly readable text and a sparkling selection of photographs including some from the renowned G H F Atkins collection.
