| | The last years of the London General Omnibus Company were ones of major developments. The first vehicles of large fleets of LT, ST, T and STL types entered service and work progressed towards the setting up of the London Passenger Transport Board in 1933. The last years of the General were also the last years of the many independent bus operators who had been running on London's streets since 1922 and of the municipal and company-owned tram systems, all of which would be taken over by London Transport. This exciting period is the subject of this book. Contents:
