| Organised by the Southern area of the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society, the Bournemouth to Bath Run is now the longest event of its type in the H.C.V.S. The run starts in Bournemouth and finishes, over 84 miles away, in Bath, passing through Ringwood, Salisbury, Amesbury, Warminster and Frome. A total of 171 vehicles took part, ranging from a 1917 A.E.C V-type 3-tonner through to a 1970 Fodon 539. Beautiful scenery, a wide selection of vehicles and weather conditions varying from high winds and rain at Bournemouth through to sunshine at Bath, combine to provide a splendid visual record of the event.
