Website
As some of you may be aware we have been experiencing some response time problems with our website recently. We've done all the usual windows things like getting rid of temporary files, defragmenting the disk etc etc but nothing seemed to help much. We've also been experimenting with different settings for the server and in the last 24 hours things seemed to have improved somewhat. As a last resort we may have to rebuild the server but will hang fire on that to see how things work out with the latest changes.
We apologise and thank you for your patience if you have been affected by these problems.
New Titles
We added 15 new titles during May. In the last week 9 titles have been added including Modelling The Southern - Ideas And Inspiration by Jeremy English. This new title provides informative text accompanied by a variety of colour and mono images, many seen for the very first time. Expert and enthusiast Jeremy English also takes readers on a tour of locomotives, Southern Electric, freight workings, infrastructure, signalling and sample track layouts. The latter especially useful when considering planning a layout. The miscellany of the Southern is not forgotten either, as road vehicles and fencing are also included.
