OK, so we know it's only August 2011 and it's still the summer (well it must be somewhere in the UK) but we already have 2012 Calendars in stock. Calendars are usually produced in one print run so when they are gone that is normally that. Sadly, there will be no Light Rail Calendar for next year.

We need to clear some space on our shelves for new titles and so have a small selection of reference books by SELDEC Publishing that are now available at SALE prices of at least 30% off. These are listed under Sale Items or can be seen in the list of SELDEC Publishing titles.

We've just added two new titles which might be of interest. The first is LONDON ORBITAL features two cab rides around London's complex rail network - from Hoo Junction to Temple Mills and from Clapham Junction to Temple Mills and include many manual signal boxes and semaphore signals that have since disappeared as well as the sites of some of the capital's closed stations and freight terminals. The second, PASSENGERS ONCE MORE - SOUTHERN ENGLAND is the first book in an exciting new series by Terry Gough which will chart reinstated or new stations and lines on Britain's rail network since nationalisation in 1948. This first title covers Kent to Cornwall, with all relevant stations and lines from the smallest halt to major developments including the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, now referred to as High Speed 1.
