Welcome to an addendum to the November 2009 Edition of the Newsletter from Transport Diversions
A Security
Apology:
As we were despatching the November
Newsletter we were unaware that the renewal of our secure pages Security
Certificate was about to hiccup! We won't bore you with the details but suffice
to say our renewal application was found to have "incorrect paperwork" and the
application had to be restarted.
We're pleased to say with a lot of effort
on our part and that of the certificate issuers, who luckily provide 24/7
support, we were able to get a revised renewal through the validation process
and a certificate issued within 48 hours.
Its worth mentioning that despite this, at
no time were our checkout pages unsecured. The registering of a certificate
just stops that annoying warning in your browser that the site may be
unsecure, and provides reassurance that we have passed a validation process
with the internet powers that be.
